The Yamaha R25 is a fully faired 250 cc sport motorcycle with a six-speed manual gearbox, ridden on a class A2 licence. The forward-leaning riding position works well on winding roads and is more tiring than the MT-25 on long, straight stages. With a top speed of 175 km/h and a 14.1 litre tank it suits the coast road towards Kemer and the paved mountain roads around Antalya. It can be used in town, where stop-and-go traffic means working the clutch. The daily limit is 150 km.

Which licence do I need for the Yamaha R25?

You need an A2 licence; a full A licence is also valid. A1 and B licences are not enough for this model. The minimum age is 21. If your licence is not in the Latin alphabet, bring an International Driving Permit together with the original.

Can two people ride the Yamaha R25?

Yes, it has a two-person seat and the 250 cc engine is enough for two people on roads between towns. Only the person who rented the motorcycle may ride it.
